Down to the Baker's Shop is a folk song perfect for elementary students. The song is simple to sing (notation included) and then students have the chance to get creative! First they add body percussion and compose their own body percussion patterns. Then they can add unpitched percussion instruments and Boomwhackers. All compositions are customizable to your classroom set-up so you can use what you already have. I also added a B-section to the piece with more baked goods and 6 different background beats for students to choose from.
